What are terpenes?

Terpenes are aromatic oils (derived from the same glands that produce CBD) that colour cannabis varieties with distinctive flavours like pine, berry, mint and citrus.

We have carefully selected a range of natural terpenes to incorporate into our products to make sure we are getting the most out of the plant, and in turn allowing you to get the most out of your everyday!

Alpha & Beta Pinene - gives off a piney aroma, known to counteract the unwanted effects of THC such as anxiety and short term memory. It enhances memory retention by inhibiting acetylcholinesterase activity in the brain, which helps you retain memories more efficiently.

Limonene - with citrus tones, it has mood boosting, anti-anxiety and anti-depressant properties.

Geraniol - floral scent. Pain & stress relief along with anti-inflammatory aid.

Alpha bisabolol - a chamomile flower scent with anti-inflammatory, anti-irritant and anti-microbial properties

Linalool - found in lavender and coriander known for anti-anxiety, acting as an anaesthetic and general relaxation.  

Beta caryophyllene - black pepper scent, properties to protect cells against digestive tact.

Caryophyllene oxide - the ability to protect the body and brain from disease.

Borneol - enhances pain relief, improves circulation and decreases stress, with a mint and rosemary flavouring.

Eucalyptol - refreshing and minty which helps fight colon damage and pancreatitis.

Ocimene - helps treat diabetes.

Humulane - antibacterial agent which is also proven to have properties that aids with killing cancer cells

Camphene - reduce heart disease along with reducing pain and inflammation.

Myrcene - with a fragrent scent of mangos and lemongrass this terpene is known for its sedative effects

Terpinolene - known for its antibacterial and anti- oxidant properties.

Nerolidol - woody and citrusy notes with sedative, anti-fungal and anti-parasitic effects

Geranyl acetate - known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties

Farnesene - found in turmeric, this terpene is thought surpress spasms and help treat colon and pancreatic cancers

Bisabolene - with Lemon and Carrot scents, this is known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties.

Linalyl Acetate - found in spice plants this aids with cognitive boost and acts as an antidepressant.

p-Menthone - having a fennel odor, menthone has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. This is beneficial for the lungs and airways stressed from infection or viral attacks.
